Michael Walsh is a versatile artist specializing in sculpture, metalwork, installation art, and furniture design.

His work revolves around the exploration of our relationships with the objects that surround us. He believes that every object we touch carries inherent information — sometimes we consciously perceive it, while other times we remain oblivious. Michael takes pleasure in investigating these connections, whether they involve the universe, your motorcycle, or a cherished kitchen knife.

In 2010, he earned a Master of Fine Arts degree, graduating Sigma Cum Laude from California State University, Long Beach. He completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art, graduating Cum Laude from the University of California, San Diego.

Michael’s sculptures and installations have been showcased in various galleries and museums across Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Michael has also received numerous awards from art organizations in the Greater Los Angeles Area, including honors from California State University, Long Beach, and the Palos Verdes Art Center in Palos Verdes, CA.
